Westminster Abbey is the venue of Classic FM Music Makers Charity Christmas. The huge vaults of this stunning Gothic building play host this year to the crystal clear sounds of The Choir of Westminster Abbey conducted by James O’Donnell. For a traditional programme of carols and seasonally-themed readings, organist Robert Quinney will lead. Classic FM presenters Simon Bates, Jane Jones and Jamie Crick lead the readings. Handel’s ‘Rejoice Greatly’ from ‘Messiah’, performance by guest soloist and Welsh Baroque soprano, Elin Manahan-Thomas is one of the highlights of the evening.
Admission fee to the event is £14.
