Overview
Situated 12.2 miles (16.4 km) west northwest of Charing Cross, Harrow is a town in the London Borough of Harrow, West London. In the London Plan, it was identified as one of the major metropolitan centers. Before its inclusion in Greater London in 1965, Harrow was a municipal borough of Middlesex. It is home to a large University of Westminster campus near Northwick Park Hospital. Winston Churchill and Indian Prime Minister Nehru had attended Harrow School in Harrow.
