Museums - Handel House Museum
Handel House Museum was previously home to the famous composer George Frideric Handel who had lived at 25 Brook Street from 1723 till 1759. his famous compositions include ‘Messaih,’ ‘Zadok the Priest,’ and ‘Music for the Royal Fireworks.’ At present, the Handel House is a beautifully restored house displaying the paintings and prints of Handel and other fellow composers. It is now a live music venue and museum showcasing the music and culture of the 18th century and also reflecting the life of Handel. Today also Handel House is alive with music as it was during his time. It complete enchants the visitors to the house and museum. You can visit Handel House Museum from Tuesday to Saturday in between 10am to 6pm, on Thursday the visiting time is from 10am till 8pm and on Sunday you can visit in between 12pm and 6pm. The admission fee for adults is £5 and £4.50 on concession. For children it is £2 and is free on Saturdays.
