Museums - Museum of Garden History
Adjacent to Lambeth Palace and placed on the banks of River Thames is the Museum of Garden History which penetrates into the historical background and development of gardens and gardening culture in the UK. It is situated in the restored church of St.Mary-at-Lambeth and showcases some of the finest tools, artifacts and curiosities related to gardening culture. In addition to the museum, is a beautiful knot garden which dates back to 17th century. The garden is adorned with flowers and shrubs which have grown in the graveyard covering the area around the tombs of the renowned plant hunters namely, the John Tradescants, father and son, and Captain Willaim Bligh of the 'Bounty.'

The Museum of Garden History is open for public from 10:30am to 5pm. The museum also features other facilities like café, gift shop, toilets, library and fully accessible for the disables. The nearest tube stations are Lambeth North, Westminster and Waterloo. The admission fee for the adults is £3.00 and a concession of £2.50.
