The Natural History Museum which is located in South Kensington near Hyde Park is a favorite place and most frequently visited by the tourist. It has its entrance in Exhibition Road and it is best to wear nice and comfortable shoes to visit the museum as you have to encounter a long queue. The Natural History Museum features skeleton of reptiles and the saber-tooth tiger. The skeleton of T-Rex is an excellent and new display to be viewed in the museum. The Insect Room showcases a large variety of bugs and arachnids which might scare you off. You can enjoy the mind-blowing shows exhibiting the real life like the life cycle of any insect. There are other more galleries to be visited which include Ecology gallery, Mammals gallery, Mineral Gallery and Earth’s gallery which feature 17-carat diamond and lemon size emerald. At the end of the museum, you can get complete report on what we are contributing to Earth in the section Earth Today and Tomorrow. You can have the vivid picture of destruction and pollution of Mother Earth. The National History Museum is open from 10am to 5:50pm throughout Monday to Saturday. On Sunday, the museum is open from 11am until 5:50pm.
